Toggles
Toggles at the bottom of the Orders and Invoice Dashboards allow for more granular analytics at the item level. The three options we have are:
Include Price Changes - Includes the line item price changes with the "Discount" values, for visibility into price changes at the order level.
Split Discounts / Charges - Proportionally splits order level charges or discounts across the line items, for visibility into brand level reporting that includes charges and discounts.
Include Taxes in Total - Flexibility in how taxes appear in the reports.

Include Price Changes in Discounts / Charges
When TRUE any item price changes will be combined with and respective discounts or charges. The subtotal will be updated to reflect this change.
What changes when the toggle is enabled?
The charges and discounts values will now include any price changes done at the item level. For example: if we add an item to an order and the default price is $10, but the price was manually changed to $5, this price change will be reflected as an Order Discount for each item.
The subtotal will be updated to reflect this change - Since an item price change alters the subtotal value, this toggle will adjust the subtotal accordingly.

2. Split Discounts / Charges Over Line Items
When TRUE, order level discounts and charges will be applied proportionally to each line item.
What changes when the toggle is enabled?
All order level charges and discounts will be proportionally applied to each line item. We calculate the proportion by creating a multiplier for each item:

- item multiplier = item total / order subtotal
- split discount (or item discount) = Order Discounts x multiplier- split charge (or item charge) = Order Charges x multiplier
βLine item dimensions will show values for order level Discounts, and Charges metrics. This allows for more granular brand level reporting. If this toggle is off, then any line item values for discounts or charges, will show $0.
This is because order-level charges and discounts in Distru are not natively calculated at the item level but rather applied to the subtotal of the entire order.
Charges and discounts will still show order-level values in the Top KPI areas as well as in any grouped tables.
