Overview
Pricing Tiers automatically apply discounts or fixed pricing to Sales Order Line Items based on customizable rules like order quantity, customer group, product category, and more. These streamline pricing at scale, reduce manual adjustments, and provide your customer with customized pricing and even slashed-price incentives.
Prerequisites
There are no strict requirements to create a Pricing Tier, but we recommend having the following set up to fully leverage Discount Conditions:

1. How to Access Pricing Tiers
Navigate to the Menu → Settings.
Click on Customize Distru → Pricing Tiers.
2. Pricing Tier Rules
Pricing tiers are applied to sales order items using the following logic:
Pricing tiers will only apply when the following fields are present:
Customer
Order date
Order item quantity
Flat pricing tiers will always take precedence over discount based pricing tiers
If multiple flat pricing tiers are applicable for an order item, the lowest flat price will be used
If multiple discount based pricing tiers are applicable for an order item, the biggest discount will be applied
3. Creating a Pricing Tier
Click Create Pricing Tier and fill in the required fields under Pricing Tier Info:
Internal Name: Used internally (e.g., 20% off when ordering 10+ units).
External Name (optional): Shown to customers (e.g., Special Flash Sale)
Defaults to Internal Name if left blank.
Discounts:
Percentage: Applies a percentage-based discount to the original price of each unit, reducing it by a set percentage when conditions are met (e.g., 10% off per unit).
Flat Discount: Subtracts a fixed dollar amount from the original unit price, lowering the price by a specific value (e.g., $25 off per unit) once the discount applies.
Flat Price: Sets a fixed final price per unit, replacing the product’s original price entirely when the pricing tier conditions are met.
✅ Pro Tip: Use the Flat Price carefully, this replaces the product’s price entirely, not just applies a discount.
Valid From / Valid Until:
Set start and optional end dates for time-sensitive promotions.
Leave blank for discounts that should apply indefinitely.

4. Adding Discount Conditions
Click Add Condition to attach discount rules. You must add at least one condition.
Available discount condition types:
Minimum Order Quantity: Specify quantity and unit (e.g., 10 units).
Discount by Total THC %: Select a range of THC% that the price tier should apply to
Customer Group: Select from existing CRM customer groups.
Brand: Select a Brand that price tiers should apply to
Customer: Select one or multiple Companies that the price tier should apply to
Product: Select one or multiple Products that the price tier should apply to
Product Group / Category / Subcategory: Select from existing Product Groups, Categories or Subcategories that the price tier should apply to
✅ Pro Tip: You can stack multiple conditions to narrow the target for the discount (e.g., only for certain customers and products). If you only specify one condition (e.g., by customer), it will apply broadly unless narrowed further.

6. FAQs
Can I apply multiple tiers to one customer?
Yes, but only the best applicable discount will apply based on the rules.
What happens if the Pricing Tier expires?
It will stop applying to orders automatically after the Valid Until date.
Will the discount apply if no unit is specified?
Yes, but it applies equally across all unit types, specify units to control behavior.
How can I make sure a pricing tier only applies to new orders I create moving forward?
Set a “Valid From” date (the day you want it to start applying), that way it will only apply to orders created on or after that date.
