Company Upload Errors in Distru

This section documents the most common errors encountered when bulk uploading Companies into Distru. These errors focus specifically on the required fields that must be filled in for a bulk upload to succeed, along with guidance on how to resolve them.

Prerequisites:

  • Access to Distru with the ability to bulk upload products

  • Completed CSV template ready for import

Company Name

❌ Error: companies.name: Please enter your company's name

This error occurs when the Company Name field is left blank in the bulk upload template. Every company created in Distru must have a name so it can be identified and tied to licenses, contacts, and products.

  • Enter a valid Company Name in the template.

  • Make sure the name matches how you want the company to appear in your CRM.

⚠️ Common Mistakes

  • Leaving the Company Name column blank.

  • Using an invalid or incomplete name.

  • Entering a name that doesn’t match the one already in your CRM (e.g., entering Sun Shine LLC when the CRM has Sunshine).


License Type

License Active

Location Address Fields
