Company Upload Errors in Distru

Company Name
❌ Error: companies.name: Please enter your company's name

This error occurs when the Company Name field is left blank in the bulk upload template. Every company created in Distru must have a name so it can be identified and tied to licenses, contacts, and products.
✅ How to Resolve
Enter a valid Company Name in the template.
Make sure the name matches how you want the company to appear in your CRM.

Leaving the Company Name column blank.
Using an invalid or incomplete name.
Entering a name that doesn’t match the one already in your CRM (e.g., entering

License Type

The License Type entered in the bulk upload doesn’t match an accepted state license type in Distru.

Go to: ☰ Hamburger Menu > CRM > Companies.
Select a company and Edit License (or create a new one).
Use the dropdown menu under License Type to see all valid options.
Ensure your bulk upload matches one of those values exactly.

License Active

Go to the License Number column in your template.
Enter a value (it cannot be blank).
If you don’t have the number yet, you may enter a placeholder value (e.g.,
XYZXYZ), but update later for compliance.

License Expiration Date

Go to the License Expiration Date column in your bulk upload sheet.
Enter the date in YYYY-MM-DD format (e.g.,

Location Address Fields
