Understanding the Settings
1. Page & Label Size
Page Width/Height: This must match your physical printer paper exactly.
Label Width/Height: Measure one individual sticker on your sheet and enter the exact size in inches.
2. Grid & Sheet
This tells the tool where the stickers are located on the page.
Cols & Rows: Enter how many stickers fit across (Cols) and down (Rows).
H. Gap / V. Gap: Enter the empty space between stickers.
π‘ Tip: If your labels touch each other with no space in between, set the Gaps to 0.
3. Style & Fit
Control how your artwork fits inside the label area:
Fit (Keep Aspect): Recommended. Shrinks your image until it fits completely inside the label. This prevents cutting off information but may leave white space on the sides.
Fill (Crop to Box): Zooms in until the sticker is fully covered. This looks great but might cut off the edges of your artwork.
Stretch (Distort): Forces the image to fit exactly by stretching it. Only use this if your artwork dimensions don't match the label shape.
Border:
Set to 0 for no border.
Set to 1 (or higher) to add a black outline, which is helpful for manual cutting.
Common Issues & Solutions
My labels are printing slightly off-center
Printers often shift slightly. You can correct this by adjusting the Page Margins:
If the print is too high, increase the Top Margin (e.g., add
0.1).Important: When printing the final PDF, ensure your printer settings are set to "Scale: 100%" or "Do Not Scale." Never select "Fit to Page."
The tool is running slowly
This tool processes files directly in your browser to keep your data secure. If you upload a very large file (e.g., 40MB+), it may take a moment to process.
π§ Note: If the tool freezes, try splitting your PDF into smaller batches (e.g., 50 labels at a time) before uploading.
The preview looks blurry
Don't worry! The Live Preview uses a lower resolution to keep the tool fast. The final Generated PDF will be high-resolution (300 DPI) and crisp for scanning barcodes and QR codes.
