Integrating Distru with Apex Trading provides cannabis operators with a streamlined approach to managing inventory, sales, and compliance across multiple platforms. Step-by-Step Guide
Create a room
Your first step should be to designate or create a room in Distru for allocating only wholesale packages
In Distru, you can create a new room by going into your Settings > Company > Company Info > + Add Location
In case this room is already created, just designate it as a wholesale location; naming it as wholesale should be enough.
Generate your Distru API Key
Once you have reached out to our team requesting Distru API access, you will be granted Distru API access under Settings > Integrations
Next step is to create an API Key for Apex Integrations and copy it
Integrate with Apex Trading
In Apex, go to Company dropdown > Integrations > Distru
In Apex:
Select the license you will be working with
Paste the API key in the field Distru Key, and click update
Then select the room designated in Distru earlier in the first step of this article, sync the inventory to Apex
Match Products
The "packages" view in your Apex Distru integration shows the SKU for each product in Distru.
This SKU is a unique identifier that helps you match products between Apex and Distru.
This view also helps you find products not yet matched with Distru products.
In order to match products, simply go to Inventory within Apex, select the product to edit and input the Distru Product SKU in the SKU field (green arrow), then select Save and Close at the bottom of this form (black arrow).
