Store resale certificates to ensure you don't need to collect sales tax

When selling to other licensees, you will need to ask for their resale certificate. If they don't have one, you will need to collect local sales tax rates on each order. Most businesses will have one. You will need to have your own as well when purchasing from Suppliers.

You can simply ask them to mail you a resale certificate.

Once you have this, you can go to the Company Detail page and attach it as an attachment, and / or store the permit number in a custom field in the Company or in the Company's description.
