Setting inventory thresholds for restocking

Distru now offers the ability to input inventory thresholds minimum and maximum levels on a per product level.

Users with product editing permissions can set these on a product level by editing the product in Distru. All types of products, batch, product or package tracked have these fieldsavailable by default when you edit the product as shown above.

All numerical values are acceptable, including decimals. For your inventory threshold minimum, set the minimum inventory quantity based on the unit type of the product you'd like to maintain. In the example above, a user selling mids in grams could set the value to be 50g, meaning that they'd like to have at least 50g of inventory on hands at all times so that when the value comes close to that, they can re-order accordingly.

Similarly with the inventory threshold maximum field, users can set the maximum amount of the product they'd like to keep.

NOTE: Both of these fields can be updated en masse for your products via our uploader tool.


For Analytics Users

These values are required to be set to take advantage of our new Re-stock page that's now available for viewing. Otherwise you will see blank values in the top part of analytics as shown below:
