Welcome to the onboarding guide for integrating your Distru account with Trym! This guide will contain everything you need to know for a successful integration.

What the integration does
The integration at its core is simple! Once your accounts are connected, Distru and Trym will simply share your list of available Metrc tags in a given license, so that when you use a specific tag in one system it is no longer available in the other. The rest is handled naturally with Metrc in between, so that you can handle your plant management and harvesting through Trym and switch to Distru when you're ready to make packages from your harvest!
Getting Started
To get started, you'll need to connect your cultivation licenses in Trym as well as Distru (Your Implementation Specialists will help with that part!).
Once the licenses are connected, retrieve your API key from Trym, and give it to your Distru Implementation specialist to input to your Distru account.
Once that has been completed, your available Metrc tags for the connected licenses will populate in Distru.
Crossover between Trym and Distru
You will have some flexibility on what things you want to conduct in Trym vs Distru! The most common flow between the systems will look like this
Distru's Plant and Harvest tables will update from Metrc every 15 minutes, so whenever you conduct actions in Trym that sync to Metrc you'll see them reflected in Distru.
Creating Packages from a Harvest
Whether you conducted the harvest through Trym or Distru, you will navigate to the Harvests Table in Distru to start creating packages (Main Menu > Cultivation > Harvests). If you choose to do your harvests using the Distru Speed Harvesting App, use this help article to guide you through!
Click on the name of the Harvest you wish to create packages from. This will bring you to the Harvest Detail Page
Once on the Harvest Detail Page, you can see the total wet weight available to be packaged, compared to Harvest Waste, and Moisture Loss
(Moisture Loss is automatically calculated when you finish the harvest
(Total Wet Weight - Packaged Weight - Harvest Waste = Moisture Loss)).
Click on the 3-dot menu to create packages from this harvest, or record waste
Note: If the harvest was not conducted through the Distru Speed Harvesting App, the plants tab will appear empty.
Don't worry, this is totally normal for Harvests created through Trym that synced to Distru through Metrc.
When you click Create Packages, the creation module will open. Here you can create multiple packages belonging to multiple products.
So if from this harvest you have a package of bulk buds and a package of shake, you can create both packages in the different products at the same time!
