Hardware Requirements

In order to setup your Ohaus Ranger 3000 to automatically send weights to the Distru app during teardown, you'll need the following hardware (all can be found at the Distru Hardware Store):

    1. Note: This scale has a max capacity of 6lbs, if you're bulk/tote weighing, this is not the scale for you.

Once you have your hardware, make sure your scale is charged and turned on, then follow these steps:

Setting your printer's print frequency

  1. Hold the Menu button until the display says CAL

    1. Note: Some older models don't display CAL, in that case, move onto Step 2

  2. Click the Print button until you see PRINT on the display

  3. Click the On/Zero button, the display should say RESET

    1. Note: Some older models don't have the RESET option, in that case move onto Step 4

  4. Click Print button until the display says A PRINT

  5. Click the On/Zero button, the display should say INTER

    1. Note: If it does not say this, press Print until it says INTER

  6. Click the On/Zero button, the display should say 1

  7. Click the On/Zero button, the display should say CONTNT

  8. Finally, click the Menu button and the display should now be the weight screen

Setting your printer's Bluetooth communication options

  1. Hold the Menu button until the display says CAL

    1. Note: Some older models don't display CAL, in that case move onto Step 2

  2. Click the Print button until you see COM on the display

  3. Click the On/Zero button, the display should say RESET

  4. Click Print button until the display says BAUD

  5. Click the On/Zero button, the display should say 9600

  6. Click the On/Zero button, the display should say PARTIY

  7. Click the On/Zero button, the display should say 8 NONE

  8. Click the On/Zero button, the display should say STOP

  9. Click the On/Zero button, the display should say 1

  10. Click the On/Zero button, the display should say HANDSH

  11. Click the On/Zero button, the display should say NONE

  12. Click the On/Zero button, the display should say ALT.CM

  13. Click the On/Zero button, the display should say PRINT

  14. Finally, click the Menu button and the display should now be the weight screen

Last Step

Whew, that was a lot... Luckily we only ever have to do that once!

Now all you have to do is turn off your scale, and turn it back on. Once you've done so, you should be able to see your Bluetooth scale appear in the Distru app when you try to connect lie like so:

On your harvest screen, click on the "Pair" button:

Wait a few seconds and you should see your BlueSnap device:
