Overview

Customizing your menu is a great way to give buyers a clear, branded experience that reflects your business. With Distru Commerce, you can adjust colors, logos, contact details, layout, and more. All directly from the Menu Appearance settings.

Prerequisites: Create a new menu or edit an existing one.

1. Two ways to personalize your menu’s look:

Edit a single menu: Open any menu (new or existing), go to Menu Appearance, and adjust its layout. These changes apply only to that specific menu.

Set default appearance for all menus: At the bottom of the Menu Appearance section, click "Customize Distru". This opens the Wholesale Menu settings area, where you can define default appearance settings.

  • These settings will apply to all menus created in the future. Existing menus will keep their current look.

2. Menu Appearance Settings

Once you're in the Menu Appearance section, you can update:

  1. Accent Color: Select your brand’s primary color (Hex Value) across buttons and interface elements.

  2. Show Banner Image (Header): Upload a banner image with a recommended size of 1200px × 400px.

  3. Show Company Logo: Add your company logo with a recommended size of 168px × 120px.

    • Logo has a transparent background: If your logo has a transparent background, click here to ensure it displays correctly in the menu.

  4. Show Custom Tab Icon (Favicon): It’s the small browser tab icon, the recommended size is 32px × 32px (minimum 16px × 16px).

  5. Homepage Title: This is the large title to your menu homepage, you can write 60 characters max and emojis are supported 🎉.

  6. Show Company Description: Display a short message below your homepage title. You can also choose different font types and add a hyperlink.

  7. Show Contact Info: Optionally show:

    • Website.

    • Email.

    • Phone number.

    • Address: You can add your full address or just a general location (For example: Los Angeles, California).

Default View Style:

Choose how products appear by default:

  • Grid View.

  • List View.

Default Order Confirmation Settings

Send internal order notification email when orders are placed through the menu:

  • Choose which team members will receive email notifications when an order is placed through this menu.

3. FAQ

  • Will updating the default appearance in Customize Distru affect existing menus?

No. Only new menus created after the update will reflect those default settings.
