Navigate your DistruCommerce menu - Buyer

Overview

This article is designed to help Buyers easily understand and navigate a DistruCommerce menu. Once logged in, Buyers can search for live products, view detailed information, apply filters, and place orders directly from the seller’s menu. Whether you're browsing featured items, shopping for discounts, or filtering by category or strain, this guide will walk you through the full process.

1. Menu Layout and Key Sections

When you open a DistruCommerce menu, you’ll see:

  • Search Bar: Search for products by name.

  • Company Info: Company name, description, and (if provided) website, phone, email, and location.

  • Product Categories: Organized product types like Concentrates, Flower, Edibles, etc.

  • All Products by Type: For example, “All Flower Products.”

  • Featured Products: Curated by the seller, marked with a ⭐ “Featured” badge.

  • Featured Promotions and Discounts: Lists active promos, from highest to lowest discount.

  • Other Categories: Browse all other products by type.

2. Search and Filter Options

Once inside a product list or category:

  • Use the Search Bar to find specific items

  • Use Sort Options:

    • Product Name

    • Category Type

    • Strain

    • Product Group

  • Change layout with View Style: Grid or List

  • Use Filters (if applicable):

    • Category Type

    • Strains

    • Product Groups

Click Clear to remove filters.

3. Viewing and Selecting Products

See product images, available quantity, price, and any applied discount.

  • Click on a product to view more details.

  • Click Add to Cart to add a product. Manually input or increment quantity.

  • Click Request Sample if the option is available.

4. Product Details

Inside a product page, you may see:

  • Product image and name

  • Strain Type (e.g., Indica, Sativa)

  • Category and Subcategory

  • Unit or Case-based sale type (or both, if applicable)

  • Available quantity

  • Description

  • Discount info

  • Option to Request a Sample (if applicable)

5. Adding Products to Cart

You can:

  • Add/Remove quantity manually or with the +/- button

  • Request samples (if enabled)

  • Apply active promotions automatically

  • Navigate to checkout when ready

6. Checkout Process

Click Checkout when ready, and you’ll see your contact information:

  • Name, Email, and Company

  • Shipping Location:

    • Enter Shipping and Billing Address

    • Select License Type

    • Enter License Number

You can also add a location manually in the menu via the Ship To → Add Location section, but we recommend adding it during checkout.

✅ Pro tip: The location is saved only after placing the order for the first time. You can manage it later in Settings → Company Info → Warehouse/Facilities.

7. Final Order Confirmation

Once you place your order, you’ll be taken to a confirmation page that says “Your order has been placed.” You can click the green Order Tracker button, where you can access COAs, invoices, and more.

On this page, you’ll also see:

  • A message from the vendor, as well as your own message to the vendor.

  • All the contact information you added to the Sales Order.

  • The full order details.

  • On the right-hand side, the order subtotal with additional charges and discounts (taxes not included).

8. FAQs

  • How can I request samples?

If a vendor has enabled samples, you’ll see a Request Sample button next to eligible products.

  • Why don’t I see tax totals during checkout?

If this is your first time ordering to a new location, taxes aren’t shown until the seller accepts the order. Taxes and updated totals will appear in the Order Tracker.
