If you use Metrc, getting it connected with Distru will be one of the most important steps of getting started.
Metrc API key
Make sure your API key is obtained from the Metrc user with the highest permissions in Metrc. Go to that Metrc account and copy their API key:
Login to Metrc
On the top right next to username click the small triangle, and then API keys
Copy the API Key; if none exists, then click on Generate.
Getting Everything Connected
You'll need the help of your Implementation Specialist to get your account initially connected with Metrc. This takes just a few moments, and will get taken care of on your initial Onboarding Call.
Once we have entered your company API key your account is Metrc enabled, go to Settings > Integrations > Metrc in Distru.
Add your user API key, and save it
Personal API Key vs Company API Key
Every Distru user that has access to Metrc will be required to generate their own Metrc key and add to their own Distru login. Once the main Admin on the Distru account has added the Company key, every user will utilize that as the main company key, but then input their Personal key, generated in their personal login. (This will ensure the permissions set in Metrc will reflect in Distru).
NOTE: DO NOT generate a NEW API key if you already generated one.
