OVERVIEW: BioTrack requires its users to create manifests and transfer them when inventory is being transferred between licenses. This article will explain how to create those manifests, initiate their transfer and manage their details or returns from within Distru.

Create Sales Order and Assign Packages
Users should already have an existing sales order, with its lines fulfilled, in order to proceed with creating a BioTrack manifest. Please refer to the articles below on how to create sales orders and repackage any pending line items on those sales orders before proceeding in this article to the next steps
1. Create and Sync Manifest
BioTrack manifests can be created primarily in either:
while viewing any specific sales order > checking that order's BioTrack Sync Manager
click Create Manifest (or
SYNC MANIFEST
, if viewing from the BioTrack Sync Manager)Fill in the BioTrack-required Transport Info section
Add any packages to send on the lab manifest
One all required fields are filled out, scroll to the bottom and click 'Sync to BioTrack'
The manifest will now sync to BioTrack and appear on the sales orders' BioTrack Sync Manager, as well as the Distru Outgoing Manifest page
Check the status of any BioTrack activities via three line menu > BioTrack > activities
Pending that manifests' progress in BioTrack, users can click the three dots next to a manifest to:
manage the details of a manifest
void a manifest
void a manifest along with its transfer
2. Transfer (Ship) the Manifest
After the manifest has been created, users can choose to ship the manifest by either:
on the BioTrack Outgoing Manifest page, clicking SYNC SHIPPED next to the transfer
while viewing a specific sales order's BioTrack Sync Manager and clicking
Ship Manifest
3. Inventory Intake & Manage Return
Sales orders will eventually have returns associated where customers did not want part of a sales order/manifest originally intended to be delivered to them. One thing to keep in mind is that, BioTrack regulations surrounding returns vary from state to state.
As a result, in Distru's BioTrack Sync Manager's 'Inventory Intake & Manage Return' step, whenever a return is initiated in BioTrack for a manifest matched to a Distru sales order, based on the state's BioTrack regulations Distru users will see either:
A
SYNC RETURN
button, which:initiates pulling any non-accepted packages on that manifest back into the sender's license in BioTrack
and in Distru, automatically creates and completed a return, making the package in active inventory again
or, the user will simply see a view-only window displaying any return automatically processed when the receiver rejected packages in BioTrack
Auto-matching the new BioTrack manifest to a Sales Order
Once an outgoing manifest is created in BioTrack containing the same packages and pricing as a Distru sales order containing the same packages and pricing, Distru will detect it and automatically match that BioTrack outgoing manifest to the Distru sales order.
Once the Sales Order is matched to a BioTrack manifest, the sales order status will reflect the status of the manifest in BioTrack. If there are edits that need to be made to this sales order after its matched with its manifest, you can manually unmatch the manifest from the order.
